The mission of SAIM is to foster collaboration among students of OCOM, OHSU, NCNM, and UWS in order to deepen awareness of the contributions of all medical systems for the purpose of promoting health and optimizing patient care. SAIM is the student accompaniment to the Oregon Collaborative of Integrative Medicine (OCIM) and is comprised of medical students from each academic institution represented in OCIM. This student interest group serves to connect students and promote integrative medicine by creating a space where medical students can share the approaches to medicine being utilized by their colleagues from their respective school.
