OUR MISSION...

The Student Alliance for Integrative Medicine (SAIM) is a student organized group in Portland, Oregon comprised of medical students from the Oregon Health & Sciences University, Western States Chiropractic, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and National College of Natural Medicine. Our mission to foster collaboration among students of the aforementioned medical schools in order to deepen awareness of the contributions of all medical systems for the purpose of promoting health and optimizing patient care.

The new and upcoming Student Integrative Medicine Newsletter creates a space where medical students can both teach and learn about the approaches to medicine being utilized by their colleagues from the OCIM schools. Each issue consists of articles written by students from all of the different schools on a borad topic as well as, educational opportunities, integrative medicine events, research and news and much more.
